Property Overview
This 6,400 sq.ft. three-story office building was MDC’s first development project. In 1988, MDC entered into a contract to purchase the property, which was occupied by a dilapidated old house, secured the necessary municipal approvals from the Village of Glen Ellyn, secured its financing and partnered with a contractor to build the structure. MDC fully leased the building to ten small office tenants and received the 1989 Building Improvement of the Year Award from the Glen Ellyn Chamber of Commerce. The partnership sold the building after an eight-year holding period.
