Property Overview
In 2001, MDC was part of a team assembled by the Gammonley Group and selected by the Village of Downers Grove in a public bidding process to redevelop a square block of land owned by the village in the center of the downtown area. The property, located between the train station depot, the Tivoli Theatre and Starbucks, has since been improved by the Gammonley Group into 47 residential condominiums and 12,600 sq.ft. of retail space. Station Crossing broke ground in July, 2002, and MDC coordinated the leasing of the first floor retail space to six tenants including three restaurants, an ice cream shop and a hair salon.
